Our wide variety of weekly dance camps include fun and exciting themes such as: Petite Princesses (age 2.5-3.5), Tutu Sweet Ballerina (age 3-4), Broadway Baby and Tappin' Toes (age 3-5), Happily Ever After Princess (age 4-5), American Girl, Prima Ballerina, Joy for Jazz, Broadway Bound, Got Hip Hop? and Young Yogis (age 5-7), and our Ballet Intensive (age 8 and Up). Each week culminates in a special performance on the last day of camp! An after care camp is also available from 3-5:30.

Daily Camp: Princess for a Day
Ages 3-7

Your princess can have the royal treatment any day of the week when she signs up for this enchanting daily camp. She will refine her grace and poise through in her ballet-based class. She will be delighted by the creation of princess crafts and perfecting the traits of royalty. And she will get to read and dance the stories of some of her most beloved princesses! Morning (9-12) campers will be served a peanut-free snack. Afternoon (12-3) campers are asked to pack a peanut-free, non-perishable lunch. Students should wear a leotard and ballet slippers with socks or tights and a wrap skirt or tutu. For students’ safety, please have your child’s hair secured back from her face.

You can register for one or more weeks at our summer venue. We offer pop video which is our most popular camp. Campers will learn a variety of music video style dances and end the week with a music video of their own. Our instructors will teach and perfect the choreography for the video, shoot and edit the video and your child will have a lasting memory to show friends and family.

We also offer Pom camps. These camps are instructed by NBA and Las Vegas choreographer Lea Archer. Students will learn the fundamentals of kicks, lyrical, drill, jumps, and the latest in poms choreography.

Summer at Sandy Spring is known for having an interesting variety of camps; low staff to camper ratios; experienced, caring adults responsible for each program and excellent facilities. We are located on Sandy Spring Friends School’s beautiful, 140-acre, wooded campus. We are located near Olney, Wheaton, Rockville, and Silver Spring.

Campers love our performing arts center, ropes course, nature trails, two gymnasiums, playgrounds, art barn, natural swimming pond, and computer labs.

Summer at Sandy Spring offers art, activity, sports, academic enrichment, general and activity camps, such as Fishing, Culinary Arts, Soccer, Counselors-in-Training, Woodshop, Rocketry ,Adventure Camps, Cermaics, Photography Basketball, and Volleyball.

Transportation is available from a variety of locations.
