Youth sports are typically the emphasis at a sport camp and will often be the emphasis of the entire summer camp program. While there are certainly specialty sports camps which focus entirely upon a single activity such as: football, baseball, basketball, etc., many so-called sports camps or summer athletic camps also offer a much greater variety of activities. Instruction, competition, sportsmanship, and simply having fun are a big part of a sport camp.
