For more than 50 years, summers at Appel Farm have sparked the imaginations of thousands of young people as they interacted with artists from around the world in a beautiful part of rural southern New Jersey. Safety, community, personal growth, and fun have always guided our program and continue to ensure that every child experiences a summer that will last a lifetime. Our dynamic learning program, with classes in music, theater, dance, visual arts, photography, video, recording arts, and creative writing, sports and swim, places emphasis on the creative process, hands-on learning and collaborative projects as campers work toward performances and exhibitions for their families to enjoy at the end of each session. With a balanced schedule of classes, free-time, workshops, trips, campfires, performances and special events, summers at Appel Farm are full of fun!

Most of our campers, boys and girls age 9-17, attend for 4 weeks, though a two-week session is a great way to try out camp for the first time. Sessions can be combined in order to stay for 6 or 8 weeks. With only two opening days, campers start together for each set of sessions.

McLoughlin School of Soccer is a full-time professional soccer coaching organization that runs classes, clinics and camps for children ages 3-18. Classes run all year round in many areas of New Jersey. The school is headed by Tom McLoughlin, Head Soccer Coach at Fairleigh Dickinson University. Speed Training camps for serious High School and Middle School athletes also available; coached by former Olympic & world-record runners.

US Sports Institute offers boys and girls of all ages and abilities the opportunity to participate in a wide range of sports, rather than one specific sport. Our multi-sport camps provide campers with a fun-packed and enjoyable time in an environment where they can not only develop a wider range of sporting skills but also develop teamwork and interpersonal skills.

Parents may choose to enroll their child in half-day or full-day camp at any of our Summer locations. Camps will last from 9am until 12pm (until 10:30am for half-day), and they will consist of fun technical and tactical training and game play! SIGN UP TODAY!

The purpose of the clinic is to provide outstanding coaching and demonstrations of fundamental and advanced techniques of soccer under the best possible circumstances so that good habits of play will be established. It is also our hope that with this concentrated individual coaching, each camper will be better able to achieve a place on the team of his or her choice. The important and intricate movements necessary for ball control are stressed over and over. The philosophy of the director is re-enforcement of the basics and advanced techniques to make a well rounded soccer player.

The World Cup Soccer Camp is an exciting camp that pushes the element of fun by introducing players to various soccer skills from around the world. Players will learn to develop skills such as dribbling, passing and shooting based on a daily theme that relates to its country. Players will put these skills to the test in fun exercises and games, including our daily world cup competition where countries will face off against each other to be crowned “world cup winners!” Daily prize giveaways and competitions included.

Soccer Camps also available for 3-5yr olds.

Whether your child is passionate about a favorite sport or just likes to play on a team, sports camps are the best way to get ready for a new season! SMG SportsPlex at Metuchen offers a wide variety of fun and affordable camps.

The SportsPlex is a place for kids to explore a variety of sports in their Multi-Sport Camps. Kids who love any sport can participate in flag football, soccer, wiffleball, volleyball, basketball, kickball, and team handball in a safe and fun environment.

For the goal oriented participant, the One Touch Soccer Academy summer camps help kids improve their techniques and skills. Players will learn techniques to enhance their individual skill level from an experienced staff of coaches. Their staff will work with your player to strengthen any deficiencies or weaknesses. All facets of soccer (dribbling, passing, receiving, shooting, and defense) will be worked on daily. The goal is to improve your child’s all-around game. Whether your child is an experienced player or only a beginner, the One Touch staff will work to take his or her game to the next level. The One Touch Soccer Camp offers both co-ed and all-girls camps, as well as general soccer camps.

If your child prefers basketball, the SportsPlex offers First Step Basketball Camps. These camps work on all aspects of basketball (ball handling, passing, shooting, and defense) throughout the week. Whether your child is an experienced player or only a beginner, the First Step staff will work to take his or her game to the next level. They prioritize high level training, but also emphasize that basketball should be played because it is fun and teaches its participants about the importance of teamwork and being a team player.

In the Little Hands & Feet Camp, children ages 4-6 can get an understanding of both soccer and basketball through learning basic coordination skills and teamwork. This camp is run by coaches skilled in both basketball and soccer, who also have experience and knowledge of working with younger children.

The camp runs from July 9th to August 17th in two-week specialized programs, for grades 4th-9th. The camp day starts at 8:30 a.m. and is filled with fun, educational activities until the close of the day at 4:30 p.m. Pre-camp and After-camp care is available for an extra fee.

Stonybrook Day Camp is fully equipped with anything and everything necessary to make your child's summer season an unforgettable one! Family owned and operated for more than two decades, Stonybrook Day Camp is dedicated to providing a "Super Summer Experience" to boys and girls from 3 to 15 years old! This fully accredited day camp is situated in the heart of Randolph, NJ, on 37 breathtaking acres of well-maintained land. Campers will discover two heated swimming pools, a lake for boating and fishing, woods that seclude the camp's challenge course and spacious open fields that are perfect for all types of activities. In addition, Stonybrook is home to a wide variety of program areas that include archery, tennis, hockey, basketball, soccer, drama, music, cooking and much, much more! Choose from exciting programs such as: "Junior Camp," an intimate and attentive experience for our first timers and our youngest campers; "Upper Camp" for older participants; "56ers" for active children entering 5th,6th & 7th grade; and upcoming in 2005 "TeenXtreme" a travel program that combines great local traveling, overnight trips to exciting destinations and the greatest events Stonybrook Day Camp has to offer! Advanced Sports Camps offer the most professional, in depth coaching for a select number of sports. Our residential camps maintain a fun environment for young sports men and women to enhance their skills. It is also the only camp which offers guest coaching from top professionals, who can offer their expertise within coaching sessions and spend time answering questions about their sports and lifestyle.

At Advanced Sports Camps we welcome all levels of young sports men and women. We aim for them to have the opportunity to leave camp as stronger players in their chosen sports, whilst also having a lot of fun!!

Alongside the sports coaching, players will also get the chance to make some great new friends. We encourage all the players to mix with each other and often camp is the place where the players and staff make friends for life!!

After the campers have finished their specific coaching their will always be evening activities laid on. There is an opportunity to play sport in the evening with the Advanced Sports Camp coaches organizing fun games and tournament’s. You can also chill out watching a movie or play on computer games with your friends from camp. Make sure you are not to worn out as we will be on the field again the next morning!!
