Welcome to Precollege Summer Camps at NYU's School of Continuing and Professional Studies (SCPS). Students find themselves in the ideal environment to make lasting connections with industry professionals and to form friendships with interesting peers from all over the world.

NYU-SCPS Summer Camps are designed to provide a deeply enriching, intense period of study in subjects that fire the imagination while instilling confidence and pride by engaging fully in the creative process, from taking on artistic challenges to thoughtful and strategic problem solving. Students will develop expertise in a new or existing area of interest. NYU will provide a unique learning experience that is both fun and social, stimulating and purposeful. Camps are one to five weeks in length. Classes and activities are full day, five days a week. Class sizes are small to give each student individual attention.

Each summer Alfred University welcomes high school students to our campus to participate in exciting academic institutes in astronomy, creative writing, entrepreneurial leadership and women's leadership. We also offer basketball, equestrian and swim camps. Our beautiful campus, nestled in New York State's lovely Finger Lakes region, is the perfect place to experience learning and living in a collegiate setting. Students can explore fascinating subjects, meet others from all over the country with similar interests and levels of academic or athletic ability and have lots of fun. Classes, taught by distinguished faculty members, are kept small to allow for individualized attention and optimal use of equipment. Students also enjoy recreational activities, stay in modern residence halls and have meals in the University dining hall. Living and learning together, these students get to know each other well and often develop life-long friendships.

FivePoints, Union College’s premier summer academic program, resides in the picturesque city of Schenectady, the heart of beautiful upstate New York. Derived from a Mohawk Indian word for "across the pine plains” this historic city is forty miles west of the beautiful Adirondack mountains, only a few hours from New York City and the home of Union College and its surrounding communities. With complete access to Union College’s world-class facilities, FivePoints students live on a historic campus in the newly renovated College Park Hall. Each student can look forward to an exciting New York City Adventure as well as unique and educational field trips to a wide variety of exciting local attractions. The College's 100-acre campus includes eight acres of formal gardens and woodland known as Jackson's Garden.

Drawing on Union College’s excellence in teaching and commitment to cutting edge instruction, FivePoints is one of the most innovative and fun summer academic programs in the country. With exciting courses such as Forensic Science and Digital Creative Arts, FivePoints is Union College’s answer for bright young minds searching for amazing summer experiences. Students from around the country will make the most of their summer vacation by living, laughing and learning in one of America’s best colleges. Experiencing life on a college campus and academic immersion in one chosen field of study are the central pillars of the FivePoints program. Our program is academically stimulating and socially enriching. Academics are extremely important, but FivePoints is first and foremost a summer program. Our staff spends the entire winter preparing and organizing for each summer. The goal is to fill every day and dedicated free time with fun activities designed to bring our students together and make the most of our vast campus resources.
