Physical Education is an integral part of a youngster's development. At the Sports Academy, a young child can have a first-hand experience by being introduced to many different sports activities on a daily basis. Various motor skills and patterns of movement developed at an early age will help to increase coordination and athletic ability as your child grows and matures. We believe and have first hand knowledge and experience that children can be taught the meaning of teamwork, cooperation, and sharing through small group instruction. With our structured environment, each child can improve his skills while developing a positive feeling of confidence and a lifelong love of sports. In each sport area, children will find an experienced, caring, patient, and knowlegeable staff member. Our low ratio of coach to player (1:7) will ensure your child's personal attention.

Since 1999 over 130,000 students worldwide have immersed in hands-on learning to create iPhone apps, programs with C++ and Java, video games, websites, movies, 3D models, ad designs, robots, films, and photos. Beginner to advanced students ages 7-17 enroll in these fun and challenging, weeklong, day and overnight summer camps held at 60 prestigious universities nationwide (see below).

Small class sizes (max 8:1) are guaranteed and taught by adult-only instructors, with Teens, pre-Teens, and younger students separated into different classes. Students learn personalized curriculum with a small group of peers, allowing them to optimize learning and social experiences. iD Tech Camps has been at the forefront of technology learning since 1999, and there’s never been a better or more important time to engage in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) education. French Woods offers summer camp programs in dance, theater, music, circus, magic, visual arts, sports, and horseback riding programs. Each child, works with our staff to design his or her own unique summer experience. Campers are able to focus on one particular area of interest, or they may choose to select a variety of activities. We are at the same time, a theater camp, an art camp, a dance camp, a circus camp, a horseback riding camp, a sports camp, a magic camp, and a camp that offers all the traditional camp activites, with world class programs that each child can choose a-la-cart.

French Woods is located on a private lake in the western Catskill mountains of New York State near the Delaware river and the Pennsylvania Border. The camp is approximately two and a half hours from New York City between Monticello and Binghamton.

The New York State Girls Players Golf Camp will provide quality instruction from two of Northeast New York's top PGA golf professionals. The campers will learn the benefits of having a quality short game, be introduced to proper full swing timing and mtion, be made aware of basic rules, and gain a better understanding of how to manage their games on the golf course. Activities include full swing and short game exercises, V1 video swing analysis, and 36 holes of monitored play.

Chelsea Piers, Manhattan's premier destination for youth sports, is home to 12 specialty sports camps for children and teens, ages 3 and older. While preschoolers practice ice skating and gymnastics in half-day camps, teens and tweens enjoy camps geared for the older set, including Urban Adventure Camp, Junior Golf Performance Camp, Hockey Acceleration Pre-Season Camp and Chelsea Piers BlueStreak summer training programs.
