The Falcon Horse Lover's Camp is a private one-week riding camp for horse lovers only. In this unique riding program, you care for your "own horse" and also have the opportunity to ride up to three times a day. Riding campers ages 11-15 are accepted from the beginner level up to the accomplished intermediate level.

Horse Lover's Camp is divided into three levels. Level I is for beginners/advanced beginners and is designed for students with limited experience. The certified instructor's emphasis is on basic skills in all gaits. Level II is for the intermediate, featuring riders wanting to polish their horsemanship and control. Teaching includes jumping position and emergency dismounts. Level III is for the advanced intermediates who want to sharpen their riding techniques and equitation. There can be instruction in jumping and schooling over designed courses.

Campers will also find time to swim and take part in some other Falcon traditional camp activities.

Horseback Riding Camp: Topics include Horse Safety, Anatomy, Nutrition, History, Breed knowledge, Crafts, Mounted games, Horse management skills, Semi-private Lessons. Each day will include 2 chapters of activities, 2- 30 min. semiprivate lesson, grooming,, feeding, barn chores, snacks, and fun with friends. 4 days from 9:30am-4:30pm June 15-18, June 22-25, July 13-16, July 20-23.

YMCA Camp Kern is the largest resident camp in the state of Ohio and is in the top ten of more than 240 YMCA camps across the United States. Camp Kern is located on 485 beautiful acres along the Little Miami River in Southwestern Ohio. We are a year-round camping facility offering programs in leadership adventure, outdoor education, summer camp, ranch, and conferences and retreats. Our summer camp program runs for 9 weeks, which includes one week of staff training and 8 weeks of resident camp.

Our summer camp is composed of a variety of programs. Boys and Girls Main Camp is for campers ages 7-14 and is divided into villages based on age: Frontier Village for ages 7-9, Explorer Village for ages 9-11, Adventure Village for ages 11-13, and Adventure Plus for 13-14. Camp Kern also offers a wide variety of teen programs including Kern Quest, Eco-Challenge, Ultimate Survivor, and many more. Circle K Ranch is for campers ages 10-16. Our out-trips program, Kern Expeditions is for campers ages 13-16. Leaders in Training (LIT) is offered to campers ages 14-15 and Counselor/Wrangler in Training (CIT/WIT) is offered to 16 year old campers. 56 acres of horse heaven in central Columbus featuring large indoor and outdoor arenas, wooded trails with a creek and waterfall and 18 magnificent horses!
Campers explore social behavior of horses, daily care, nutrition, safety, and responsibilities of having horses in addition to art, games, and handling lessons. Students ride 2-3 hours each day in an arena and on trail. Campers participate in skilled riding tasks tailored to their riding ability to improve confidence and skill.

YMCA Camp Willson was established in 1918, and is owned and operated by the YMCA of Central Ohio. Our 455 acre year-round facility is accredited by the American Camp Association as well as the Certified Horsemanship Association. We operate as a summer youth camp for boys and girls ages 7-17, a full-service outdoor education program for schools, and a weekend conference center for church, yourth, scouting retreats, and many other groups.

Located in the heart of the Carriagegate Subdivision of Landen, Kubicki Equestrian Center is pleased to offer summer riding camps. These day camps are from 9:30 AM till 2:30 PM.

Marmon Valley Farm runs both week long and 1/2 week sessions. Campers spend ALL morning in the graded riding program. They are assigned their own horse for the week. Afternoons spent in other activities as a cabin group. Evenings spent in whole camp activities.

Whether a beginner or an advanced rider, we have a camp for you! Camps range from 2 - 4 days: $200 - $460. Camps include horse back riding, lessons, horse care, and participation in a horse show. Recreation activities are planned every evening. We also have a recreation building with games, billiards, movies, hot tub, and petting zoo. Continual supervision at all times.

Horse Lovers Pre-Camp is a week-long camp designed especially for younger horse lovers. The focus is on the basics of hunt seat riding and barn saftey, and allowing campers to get hands-on experience with ponies and other animals.
Horse Lovers Day Camp focuses on a more detailed hunt seat riding program as well as grooming and handling skills. Campers get first-hand experience caring for horses and enjoying the bond between horse and rider.
