The Falcon Horse Lover's Camp is a private one-week riding camp for horse lovers only. In this unique riding program, you care for your "own horse" and also have the opportunity to ride up to three times a day. Riding campers ages 11-15 are accepted from the beginner level up to the accomplished intermediate level.

Horse Lover's Camp is divided into three levels. Level I is for beginners/advanced beginners and is designed for students with limited experience. The certified instructor's emphasis is on basic skills in all gaits. Level II is for the intermediate, featuring riders wanting to polish their horsemanship and control. Teaching includes jumping position and emergency dismounts. Level III is for the advanced intermediates who want to sharpen their riding techniques and equitation. There can be instruction in jumping and schooling over designed courses.

Campers will also find time to swim and take part in some other Falcon traditional camp activities.

Ideally located 40 minutes SE of Canton, Ohio in the foothills of the W. Virginia Mountains. Carefully planned program allowing personal choice within a flexible structure. 40+ programs including tennis, sailing, canoeing, swimming, volleyball, horseback riding, model rocketry, whitewater rafting, paintball, golf,crafts, drama, camping & outdoor living skills, wake and kneeboarding plus much, much more.

Marmon Valley Farm runs both week long and 1/2 week sessions. Campers spend ALL morning in the graded riding program. They are assigned their own horse for the week. Afternoons spent in other activities as a cabin group. Evenings spent in whole camp activities.

Spectacular new equine facility hosts established horse programs. Campers explore behavior of horses, daily care, nutrition, safety and responsibilities of caring for horses plus art, games and handling lessons. Students ride two hours daily in an arena and through wooded trails. Space is limited so early registration is encouraged. Field of Dreams is located next to Gahanna, just 15 minutes east of downtown Columbus.

Whether a beginner or an advanced rider, we have a camp for you! Camps range from 2 - 4 days: $200 - $460. Camps include horse back riding, lessons, horse care, and participation in a horse show. Recreation activities are planned every evening. We also have a recreation building with games, billiards, movies, hot tub, and petting zoo. Continual supervision at all times.

YMCA Camp Kern is the largest resident camp in the state of Ohio and is in the top ten of more than 240 YMCA camps across the United States. Camp Kern is located on 485 beautiful acres along the Little Miami River in Southwestern Ohio. We are a year-round camping facility offering programs in leadership adventure, outdoor education, summer camp, ranch, and conferences and retreats. Our summer camp program runs for 9 weeks, which includes one week of staff training and 8 weeks of resident camp.

Our summer camp is composed of a variety of programs. Boys and Girls Main Camp is for campers ages 7-14 and is divided into villages based on age: Frontier Village for ages 7-9, Explorer Village for ages 9-11, Adventure Village for ages 11-13, and Adventure Plus for 13-14. Camp Kern also offers a wide variety of teen programs including Kern Quest, Eco-Challenge, Ultimate Survivor, and many more. Circle K Ranch is for campers ages 10-16. Leaders in Training (LIT) is offered to campers ages 14-15 and Counselor/Wrangler in Training (CIT/WIT) is offered to 16 year old campers. Pleasant Vineyard is an inter-denominational summer camp which provides an atmosphere of love and acceptance for many children each year. It is an environment where positive relationships are developed and the love of Jesus is not only taught, but also demonstrated through fun recreational activities, outdoor education, and the lives of the camp staff.

Located SE of Richmond, Indiana, offers your child a variety of action-packed camp programs to choose from. Your child may register for a weeklong resident camp that offers up to three hours of specialty instruction each day in an area of their particular interest. YMCA Camp Willson was established in 1918, and is owned and operated by the YMCA of Central Ohio. Our 455 acre year-round facility is accredited by the American Camp Association as well as the Certified Horsemanship Association. We operate as a summer youth camp for boys and girls ages 7-17, a full-service outdoor education program for schools, and a weekend conference center for church, yourth, scouting retreats, and many other groups.

Horseback Riding Camp: Topics include Horse Safety, Anatomy, Nutrition, History, Breed knowledge, Crafts, Mounted games, Horse management skills, Semi-private Lessons. Each day will include 2 chapters of activities, 2- 30 min. semiprivate lesson, grooming,, feeding, barn chores, snacks, and fun with friends. Age 7-14 M-R from 9:30am-4:30pm. Age 4-6 T & R 1:00-3:00. Horse Lovers Pre-Camp is a week-long camp designed especially for younger horse lovers. The focus is on the basics of hunt seat riding and barn saftey, and allowing campers to get hands-on experience with ponies and other animals.
Horse Lovers Day Camp focuses on a more detailed hunt seat riding program as well as grooming and handling skills. Campers get first-hand experience caring for horses and enjoying the bond between horse and rider.
