Oklahoma Art Camps and Summer Art Programs on the Camp Channel

The scope of art summer camps can vary tremendously: some art camps focus on a particular modality while others may offer a wide variety of art forms to engage such as: fine arts, dance, theatre, music, visual art, photography, creative writing, etc. While instruction and attention to technique are normally offered at an art camp, the joy of creation is often the emphasized and embraced.

1. Lights. Cameras. Art! - Twelve week-long summer camps will provide campers the opportunity to explore both visual and performing arts at City Arts Center. Camps are available for ages 5-7, 8-12 and 12 & up.

Each camp is designed and taught by some of the metro area’s finest artists and educators. Available camps include: clay, assemblage art, acting, painting, sewing, architecture, puppetry, video production, weaving and photography.

2. The Bilingual Schoolhouse Spanish Camp - Camp is a full immersion Spanish camp. Campers enjoy activities such as art, cooking, music, dance, and games all while being fully immersed in the Spanish language.

Campers can choose to attend one week, two weeks, or three weeks. A different experience is available each week. Discounts available for multiple week enrollment. Separate camps are available for each age group: 2 - 5 year olds, 6-8 year olds, 9 - 13 year olds and 14 - 18 year olds.

The Bilingual Schoolhouse also offers:
* full immersion foreign language classes (Spanish, French, Mandarin Chinese and Sign Langauge) throughout the year.
