A summer's experience at Camp Temagami will leave campers with a lifetime of memories. In our intimate setting, experienced staff help campers (boys & girls ages 9-18) to develop self-reliance and confidence. While learning the art of traditional canoe travel, campers gain an understanding of the importance of a balanced lifestyle and an appreciation for the Canadian wilderness. Activities include swimming, sailing, arts & crafts, archery, field games, and a variety of others. We also offer a high school credit leadership program. For the past 75 years, the camp has been a meeting place where the seeds of lasting friendships have been sown.

YMCA Wanakita is an all season camp in the Haliburton Highlands, Ontario. In the summer we offer residential kids camp, day camp, and family camp. In the winter, spring and fall we offer programming for schools, adults, businesses, families, clubs and other special interest groups. Our site includes 1000 acres, 1.2 km of waterfront, and over 20km of trails.
You are challenged to learn that YMCA Wanakita is just not the buildings, the land, and the lake, but the people. It is the people that become so much a part of us while we are here.

Utilizing canoe trips and other outdoors activities, PaddleFoot introduces the Canadian wilderness to people from around the world.

*Youth programs for people ages 9 - 21 take in flatwater canoeing, whitewater canoeing, hiking and kayaking.

*Canoe trips for your family provide quality time. Be a part of each others lives!

*Adult and group canoe trips stretch out through Eastern Canada.

*First Aid and Rescue Certification courses available in the spring, and custom courses can be booked.
