Camp Joshua Equestrian Camp is one of the finest riding programs and facilities in Ontario. Campers come from all over the world to experience quality certified coaching in 'Eventing'. Tamwood International Camps was founded in Whistler 1992 and now operates three summer camps in Canada. Tamwood is a privately owned company and the owners are very involved in the day to day operations of all the camps to ensure that all campers get the best education, experience and care possible. Tamwood runs English language camps in Vancouver and Whistler, British Columbia and London, Ontario. Tamwood also runs an adventure camp in Whistler.

Tamwood campers come from all around the world, so every year is a new experience. Campers will learn English, have fun, learn about other cultures and make friendships that will last a lifetime!

Grandview offers energetic and caring counselors and a wide variety of activities to make the summer days enjoyable for all our campers. Campers will take part in english riding lessons on ponies or horses suited to their age and skill level, taught by experienced instructors. Riding lessons take place in our four outdoor riding rings or our indoor arena. Campers will also receive fun and educational lessons pertaining to horse care and management.

Grandview is home to 25 horses, with lush pastures, a large in ground swimming pool, a designated arts and crafts room, viewing lounge and much more.

We are located in the heart of the Niagara Penninsula at 570 Hwy #20, Fenwick, Ontario, Canada. Grandview Farms is family owned and operated on 24 acres of beautiful pastures amidst vineyards and orchards.

WHAT WE ARE?
The Horseshoe J Dude Ranch has been in operation for over 50 years providing a summer camping experience & horseback riding for both boys & girls 5 years of age & older. The main emphasis of our program evolves around the horses with each Dude assigned his or her own horse. Our program includes the teaching of basic horsemanship along with escorted horseback riding over the acres of beautiful hills & valleys. Our “DUDES” sleep in conastoga wagons &, along with many hours out on our beautiful trails, they join in a complete camp program of swimming, campfires and skit night, barbeques, hayrides, movies in the barn, archery, out door games, cook-outs & barn parties. The ranch is located approximately 30 minutes south west of London, Ontario, Canada.

We also offer programs of hourly horseback riding, School, Church, birthday & business parties which include access to all the facilities of the Ranch. We now also offer overnight camping for groups in our new cabins. Try out one of our family camps. We also offer riding lessons, birthday party packages and horse clubs for all ages.

WHERE WE ARE?
We are located approximately 40K south west of London or 20K west of St. Thomas, Ontario or 150K east of Windsor. Our exit from Hwy. 401 is the Iona Road which is 3 exits west of the London Wellington Road exit. Proceed south on the Iona Road through Iona Station until you arrive at highway #3 (stop sign). Continue through the village of Iona until you come to the Erin Line which is just past the Pearce William Christian Centre. A right turn & one mile will put you at the DUDE RANCH (32553 Erin Line).

SUMMER CAMPS
For over 50 years the ranch has been offering a horse camp experience for children ages 5 - 18. This summer we will be offering several week long camps and also a couple 2 night camps and a couple of 1 night family camps. Our camps are limited to a maximum of 25 "dudes" per session thereby allowing for maximum personal attention. Each "dude" is assigned their own horse and much of the day is spent with the horses. The ranch has many acres of beautiful trails thru the bush and valley.
Along with the many hours spent with the horses, the "dudes" participate in a complete camp program of swimming (in ground pool), hay rides, campfire and skit night, cook-out, archery, movies in the barn, out door games etc...........

Circle R Ranch was founded in 1966 by John and Milly Russell, who realized that there was a need for a top quality youth camping program near London, Ontario. For the past 43 years, our specialty program has been Western Pleasure Horseback Riding on a beautiful 220 acre property that features old growth forests, brush areas, open fields and a spring-fed pond. Many other activities are integrated into daily life, including swimming, archery, canoeing, teambuilding activities, wide games and much more! Our mission remains to be the best camp in the Ottawa area. Our counselors are certified teachers who have fun at work creating an environment where every child feels welcome and special. Hangar Haven Farm offers the ultimate sleepover horse camp experience that welcomes both girls and boys age seven and up. Our goal is to provide a fun, exciting week of horse and traditional camp activities. Instruction is given to campers in areas such as health, care, stabling, etc. English riding lessons are given in small groups with riders of the same ability level. We believe that each camper should be allowed to progress at their own pace during the week. To keep campers safe yet challenged, all lesson activities are tailored to suit the abilities and interests of each rider within the group.

While fun is important at camp, we make safety a priority. We pride ourselves on our barn full of kid-friendly dogs, cats and horses. Hangar Haven Farm is entering its tenth year of overnight summer camps. We are proud to be an Ontario Equestrian Federation (OEF) accredited facility with all staff having their first-aid and CPR up to date.

Shadow Ridge Equestrian Center Summer Camps offer so many exciting things for you to do. Our emphasis is on Fun, Safety and Friendship. Unlike other camp programs that include horses as a small part of their program, at Shadow Ridge Equestrian Center...horses ARE the program! We are 100% horse from the kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms decor to our awesome crafts.
Through their beauty, grace and personalities, horses help us accomplish many of our aspirations, self-confidence, leadership, honesty, respect, responsibility and compassion. Horses also evoke excitement, freedom, adventure and friendship. Girls want creativity, challenges and personal connections in their lives while at the same time having fun. Using horses as a wonderful vehicle and voice for education, our camps offer a tremendously engaging and effective arena for growth and learning.
Our residential camp program includes stable management, games, nature walks, swimming in our above-ground pool, crafts, trail ride, campfire evenings and other farm activities as well as enjoying the beauty of the country setting.

Imagine having your very own horse to spend time with. A best friend to love and take care of. Each camper is allocated and responsible for a horse for the week. Our riding program provides extensive riding and lesson time. Campers will learn how to take care of the horse, and the tack, as well as learning to ride. Every horse has their own saddle, bridle and brushes. Days are filled with horse related activities..
Mornings begin with taking care of the horses. Daily horse chores such as the morning feeding and rounding up of the horses increase the bond between each girl and horse, as they learn to work safely around them. It will provide memories to last a lifetime.

Each day will include a morning lesson in one of our fenced riding arenas (during hot weather they will ride earlier, when it is cooler out). This will develop their balance, coordination and self-confidence. The afternoon lesson will be fun riding - games on horseback, instructional videos or practical learning (braiding, bathing, etc.). Our hands on horsemanship program will help to improve their skills and confidence on and around horses. Campers will also have the opportunity to go for at least one trail ride, during the week. We will take the girls to the local convenience store once during their stay so that they can purchase "tuck" (candy etc.).

At Shadow Ridge we try to create a loving, caring family atmosphere for our campers. Accommodations are in "The Bunkhouse" (4 girls) and the "Wranglers Roost" (4 girls), in our cozy old farm house. All meals are home cooked, offering delicious, nutritious and satisfying food for the hungry rider.
Our excellent crafts and activities create personalized memories of your child's vacation. Each child will receive a camp t-shirt, and a personalized photo CD (usually 300-500 pictures) of their stay at camp. Memories they will cherish for a lifetime.
Our staff to camper ratio is 1:3 during riding lessons and all other camp activities. Campers staying for more than one week will take part in farm activities, area tours and special events on the weekends.

Residential Summer Riding Camps are offered during July and August for small groups of girls aged 9 - 16 years. Campers come not only from Canada but other parts of the world too. We have had campers from Japan, Hong Kong, France, Mexico and the USA. For first time campers or for those just wishing to experience the true camping spirit, these camps will fulfill their dreams and set parents' minds at ease. Camp memories last forever.
