THE DMA EXPERIENCE

Founded in 2002 by technology educators from Stanford University, and led by former Stanford educators and interactive education and entertainment creators from Apple and Walt Disney Studios - Digital Media Academy delivers a world-class digital learning experience.

Learn video game design, iPhone and iPad App development, Google Android app development, robotics, computer programming using Java or C+++, digital filmmaking, digital photography, website design, 3D modeling, animation and so much more.

Beginning to advanced student campers age 6-18 learn by doing with hands-on instruction from industry professionals, with real-world experience. DMA builds and develops STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) skills - many of DMA’s instructors have literally written the book on the subject that they teach. DMA Alumni include television and music producers, filmmakers, professional photographers as well as game and app developers.

At DMA, students experience life on the campus of a prestigious American university like Stanford, Harvard or UCLA (just to name a few) while making friends and learning with others who share the same interests. TECHNOLOGY LEARNING PLUS SUMMER CAMP FUN!
Emagination blends the latest in technology learning with cool non-tech activities that create a well-rounded summer camp experience for kids & teens ages 8 -17. SUMMER STUDY AT PENN STATE is a 6.5-week, COLLEGE CREDIT program for qualified 10th, 11th or 12th grade students at the University Park campus of Penn State University, one of America's leading universities. Students earn 3 credits while enrolled in an actual college course taught by distinguished Penn State faculty. Courses include Sociology, History, Biology, Music, Astronomy, Literature, English, Human Development and Family Studies, Art, Psychology, Languages, Theater, Communications and more. In addition to their college course, students choose at least one non-credit enrichment class to round out their academic programming. These "high interest & low pressure" classes include Journalism, Creative Writing, a Community Service program, the nationally renowned Kaplan SAT Preparation course, Calculus, Speed Reading, Engineering, Architecture, Law, ESL, Theater, Music, Art, Medicine, Business and other exciting offerings.

SUMMER ENRICHMENT AT PENN STATE is a 6-week,3.5-week or 2-week NON-CREDIT program for qualified 9th, 10th or 11th grade students. Students select challenging, yet fun classes from a variety of subjects taught by Summer Enrichment instructors. MIDDLE SCHOOL ENRICHMENT AT PENN STATE is a 2-week or 4-week program for quailfied 8th grade students. Students will select from a variety of fun and academically enriching classes such as computers, public speaking, chess, theater, writing classes and more.

In all programs, students have full use of the extensive sports and recreational facilities of this "Big Ten" campus, including 2 golf courses, 48 tennis courts, a 72 acre lake, 2 indoor ice skating rinks, 36 racquetball/squash courts, 4 indoor & outdoor pools, basketball, soccer, volleyball, baseball and lacrosse facilities. Private tennis and golf instruction is also available as are clinics in basketball, soccer and volleyball. In addition to sports, daily afternoon activities also include Tie-Dying, Jewelry-making, an A Capella singing group, Dance workshop, Rock Band, Poets' Corner and more. Fun-filled evenings include shows, concerts, dance clubs, ice-skating, movies, broomball, bowling, skit night and other great activities.

To further assist in college selection, SUMMER STUDY students have THREE TRAVEL WEEKENDS visiting nearby colleges and universities including Cornell, Syracuse, Ithaca, George Washington, Johns Hopkins, Bucknell and University of Maryland. Located at Haverford College, one of America’s top liberal arts schools, Enrichment offers expert instruction in the arts, cooking, business, SAT Prep and dozens of other popular subjects along with sports, activities, trips and special programs. It all adds up to a great summer experience!

The Majors are Business, Music, Fashion, Cooking, Community Service, and SAT/ACT/PSAT Prep. Now is the time to begin considering English summer camps for 2011! American English Studies is preparing for its tenth summer of organizing camps for international students. This year, we are proud to be returning to Northampton Community College (NCC) in Pennsylvania, USA. Spacious grounds, modern facilities, and proximity to major travel destinations such as New York City make NCC a superb place for this year’s English language summer camp. IF you are over 18, you can consider our new program at DeSales University.

NCC Facilities include: Tennis and basketball courts, a raquetball court, baseball, softball and soccer fields, sand volleyball court, golf range, new state-of-the-art indoor athletic facility, well-equipped classrooms, activity rooms, a full-service cafeteria, and more!

Residence halls: (Maximum number of 182 beds). Two or three-person rooms, free laundry room (washers and dryers), air conditioning, private phones, Internet access, computer stations, common room with TV, mini-café, and game room with TV and billiards table.
