Stroudsburg Summer Camps

ISTC is a sports camp in a traditional camp setting. We offer week long camps for soccer and one fantastically popular all sports program. We also offer a sport and adventure program for kids ages 15 - 17! At ISTC you can play sports all day long; AND you can drive a jet ski across our private lake, blob high into the air and cool off in our fresh waters, and race up to the top of the climbing wall and zip down through the treetops.

ISTC is situated in the Pocono Mountains of northeastern Pennsylvania on our beautiful 100-acre private lake and pristine grounds. We have a wonderful caring atmosphere that starts with our live-in counselors in our superbly maintained cabins. Our top quality facilities and coaching staff provide our campers with in-depth instruction and our additional recreation activities offer campers both learning and relaxed fun. No matter your skill level, ISTC provides campers with a safe, rewarding, challenging and educational sports experience.

Pinemere Camp is dedicated to providing an extraordinary resident summer experience in its unique Jewish setting on 180 private acres in the Pocono Mountains. Pinemere has created an environment that fosters positive growth, independence, and development of values in its campers, teen leaders, and staff members. A wide array of activities, together with traditions built over 70 years, provide children with an exceptional Jewish camping experience and memories that will last a lifetime. Our campus includes a private lake, swimming pool, field house, outdoor courts and fields, modern facilities, and more.

Pinemere is a JCC-affiliated, non-denominational, Kosher camp. In addition to 4, 3, and 7 week sessions, Pinemere offers 3-day and 1-week programs for first-time campers. Up to $1000 in incentive grants are available for first-time campers.

PURPOSE OF THE CAMP
This camp is designed to expose young rugby athletes to higher levels of coaching and thereby foster development of both individual and team skills. The camp curriculum consists of the most current skills and theories taught by USA Rugby certified coaches, including National Team coaches, athletes and instructors.

High School females

Collegiate females
Collegiate males

We have campers with no experience who want an introduction to the sport all the way up to seasoned rugby athletes who want to further develop their skills. We offer instruction to suit every need. Athletes at all levels of skill and development will be divided into teams based on skill, age, gender and size. The teams will then progress through four days of activities designed to improve both individual and team play. The camp ends with an informal match in which athletes can implement what they have learned.

Magnetropolis – Design a magnet-powered city and build a maglev train.
Inventeureka - Join Team Inventeureka and mash up ideas to build wacky and humorous
widget inventions that morph into amazing, new prototypes!
I Can Invent: Balloon Burst - Work with real tools to take apart a small mechanical device, use the parts and other materials to build a Rube Goldberg machine!
Action and Adventure Games – Use upcycled materials and teamwork to create your own exciting new games!

July 9 - 13, 2012 CREATE 2 curriculum

Saving Sludge City – Learn how to clean up pollution and build safe landfills, and design a “green” city
Problem-Solving on Planet Zak - Crash land on an alien planet and try to survive
I Can Invent: Balloon Burst - Work with real tools to take apart a small mechanical device, use the parts and other materials to build a Rube Goldberg machine!
Action and Adventure Games – Use upcycled materials and teamwork to create your own exciting new games!

Directed and taught by qualified local educators, Camp Invention is a national STEM enrichment program from the nonprofit Invent Now. Activities also focus on developing 21st Century learning skills such as teamwork, critical thinking skills, decision-making, creative problem-solving, and working through failure.

All the fun and traditions of Kirkwood Camp continue in our weeks of regular Traditional Camp. Responsibilities and challenges will help your faith grow as you tackle these challenges and learn to work in Christ-centered group. Activities include swimming, crafts, games, hiking, cookouts, Bible study, worship, singing, campfires, riding the rapids, low ropes course, archery, instruction in kayaking and canoeing, and several surprises!

IGC is a residential camp in the beautiful Pocono Mountains of northeastern Pennsylvania. Our one week sessions cater to male and female gymnasts ages 8 to 17. We have been training gymnasts for the past 30 years and boast a staff of Olympians, National Champions, National and Elite level coaches.

In addition to gymnastics, we offer the traditional camp experience complete with a full recreation schedule. Come to camp and make friends, try new things, scale our 40-foot rock wall and so much more! No matter your skill level, IGC provides campers with a safe and fun gymnastics camp experience!
