Adventure summer camps provide a multitude of different types of exciting activities and travel itineraries for campers to participate. Whether it's an expedition in the mountains, a visit to an amusement park, or extreme sports at the beach, a summer adventure camp can provide thrill seekers the excitement they seek.

1. Mountain Adventure Guides - Adventure Camp for teens ages 13-17 near Asheville, NC with backpacking, rock climbing, mountain biking and whitewater rafting.
Travel Camp - Coed - Erwin, Tennessee

Adventure Camp students participate in exciting outdoor activities in the Blue Ridge Mountains, near Asheville, NC. Core activities include backpacking, mountain biking, rock climbing and whitewater rafting. No experience is required and MAG provides all major gear.

Camp sessions are 12 or 18 days in length, with coed groups consisting of 8-12 students led by 3 skilled instructor guides (4 to 1 ratio).

2. National Guitar Workshop - The National Guitar Workshop is the country's largest summer music education program. We offer classes in guitar, bass, keyboards, drums and vocals in all styles and levels. We have programs in 7 locations around the U.S. and Canada.

3. Camp Arrowwood - Christian Camp in the Smoky Mountains of TN specializing in Tennis, Horseback, Adventure Recreation, Archery/Rifelry. See our website!
Resident Camp - Coed - Sevierville, Tennessee

Camp Arrowwood is a 5 night residential Christian camp for both boys and girls who are between the ages of 8-14. We are located outside Pigeon Forge with our property actually bordering the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. For Summer 2007, we will have 4 sessions in July. The fee for this year is $425. The max capacity for each session is 48. Our camp specializes in three main tracks: Tennis, Adventure Recreation, and Horseback. We also offer many, many other fun-filled activities. 4. Smoky Mountain Adventure Camp - Our Camp is a relatively small-group camp situated next to the Great Smoky Mountains and National Forests. Our programs are tailored to the individual skills & ability levels of the campers so all can enjoy the high-adventure activities.
Resident Camp - Coed - Cosby, Tennessee

Our Camp is a relatively small-group camp located in Cocke County Tennessee, just outside a little community called Cosby. We are approximately 18 miles from Gatlinburg, Tennessee and situated next to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park and the Cherokee National Forest.
Campers enjoy a full adventure experience as we cave, hike, backpack, tube, canoe, rappel, rock climb, ride horses, white-water raft, and participate in outdoor and naturalist programs. Our programs are tailored to the individual skills and ability levels of the campers so everyone can enjoy the high-adventure activities. We can also keep it a little more traditional for those not seeking a thrill a minute.
Our camp counselors are outdoor enthusiasts that love working with youth. We maintain a 4 to 1 ratio of campers to counselors.

Connecting people and nature summarizes our mission, which we accomplish through providing hands-on learning experiences with the National Park, focusing on developing in people a greater sense of place, a deepened appreciation and awe for the diversity of life and people, and an ethics of stewardship that follows them home.

Our camps offer high quality environmental education programs that focus on Great Smoky Mountains National Park and the issues it faces.
