Spend the summer with horses at a horseback riding camp. Learn Western and English style of riding, jumping, as well as vaulting (gymnastics on horseback). At some horse camps, participation in horse shows and competitions are common. Proper care for horses and trail riding are often integral activities at most equestrian summer camps.

They will work with large and small animals…understanding what it takes & how to care for them. We play games, have races and the teams compete against each other. Each camper rides horses each day and learns all about horse care. Campers will be a member of a farm family team in which they will have responsibilities. Tap Root Summer Farm Camp is about young people taking an opportunity to get back in touch with themselves. The pace of the world slows down, they will have time to share and experience nature’s reality, every moment is NOT booked with entertainment but through being surrounded by creation and all of its purpose, we learn more about ourselves and our purpose.
