Girl Scouts of San Jacinto Council acquired beautiful Camp Casa Mare in 1958. Located on Galveston Bay in Seabrook Texas, Casa Mare offers an excellent sailing program to girls aged 11-17. With a large fleet of sunfish, Vanguard 420's, harpoons, sloops & a big boat sailing program, the camp is well known for it's sailing program throughout Girl Scouting & the community.

Sailing is not all Casa Mare has to offer. Girls interested in more aquatics activities can explore SCUBA diving, water polo, aqua-robics, instructional & recreational swimming, skin diving, snorkeling or water skiing. Our water skiing, skin & SCUBA diving programs involve out of camp trips to nearby skiing lakes & open water dive locations.

For the sports minded camper, we have an excellent fencing program instructed by National & Olympic trainers, in-line skating, softball, basketball, junior olympic archery programs, ultimate frisbee, court & beach volleyball, tae-bo, yoga, cheer & dance & a host of other activities.

For campers wanting to relax a little this summer, try our massage & relaxation sessions exploring health, beauty & aromatherapy. Campers make their own candles, oils & gift baskets, learn the art of yoga, or for those who like to stay up late, campers LOVE our late night Owl Prowl session & sleep in each morning.

We also have drama, songs & games, foreign language & creative writing sessions. Take a trip to Lyndon B Johnson Space center & explore the world of astronauts, aviation & science.

Due to it's smaller camp size & serene location, Camp Casa Mare can be a great summer camp experience for every camper.

Camp Casa Mare is accredited by the American Camp Association & is staffed by friendly, energetic, caring role models. We have a camper to staff ratio of 5:1.

Dormitory & cabin style accommodation is available to campers & staff & our fantastic meals are catered by our on-site food service providers.

Discover the fun and friendship of Camp Rocky Point! This 59.8-acre camp is located on Lake Texoma just eight miles outside of Denison, Texas.
 
Girls stay in platform tent units overlooking the lake, with bathrooms and showers nearby. They gather in the dining hall for meals and other activities. Camp sessions end with a closing campfire on the beach.
Program facilities include: a waterfront area on Lake Texoma for sailing, canoeing, kayaking and swimming; a sports/game area; and hiking trails.
Camp Rocky Point’s Program Focus is WATER FUN! Camp Rocky Point focuses on progressive water sports which allow girls to build upon or develop skills.
Girls will also learn about the importance of healthy living as they discover how to care for themselves and the environment, connect with other girls on the water, and participate in more active waterfront activities.
