2. Summer Arts @ the Musuem 2007 - Summer Arts is a multidisciplinary hands-on, arts education program which connects arts-interested youth to the inspirational possibilities of experiencing and creating artworks at the Museum.

The mission of Summer Arts @ the Museum is to provide an environment that encourages young artists to explore and create ART. This year Summer Arts @ the Museum will explore art and ideas related to historical and futuristic culture.

Students will use museum exhibitions and community resources to explore concepts related to past, present and future CULTURES. Through bookmaking, creative writing, drawing, digital art, painting, printmaking, sculpture, and music, young artists will work with professional artists and university students to create their own expressions of CULTURE.
