2. Gage Academy of Art - Visual arts for youth! Kids & teen weekly art-focused workshops, plus for teens a 2-week Drawing Intensive & 5-week Teen Intensive.
Day Camp
Coed
Seattle, Washington

Gage Academy of Art has a long-standing history of providing fun, accessible and inspirational programming for Seattle's youth. Choose from eight weeks of kids workshops, six weeks of teen workshops, a two-week Drawing Intensive and a five-week Teen Intensive.

Kids weekly workshops include visual art and performance art. Hands-on projects and on-on-one instruction help kids learn to use their creative energy to see, move and create like an artist.

Kids ages 6 to 11 use their imaginations to try out new ideas as they learn about the elements of art. Kids workshops include instruction in Comics, Improv, Dance, Drawing, Painting, Hip Hop, Mixed Media, Clay, Drumming, Yoga, and Puppet Making.

Teen weekly workshops include classes in both 2-D and 3-D art, where professional-artist instructors work with students one-on-one to push their skill levels and unlock their creativity as they work with the essential elements of art.

Teens ages 12 to 17 sharpen their creative skills with time-tested artistic methods, using their own ideas as they investigate their own unique artistic style. Teen Workshops include Printmaking, Sculpting, Comic Creation, Plush Soft Sculpture, Collage, Drawing, Painting, Fashion Illustration, and Mixed-Media Assemblage.

Drawing Intensive NEW!
This summer, Gage offers a two-week Drawing Intensive for teens serious about increasing their drawing skills.

Teen Intensive
Being part of a vibrant artistic community is both inspiring and stimulating. The Gage five-week, certificate program provides a balance of focused, serious, challenging classes while maintaining a structure that fosters independence and promotes creative expression. This is perfect for students preparing to attend an art college.

Teens ages 15 to 18 have their own studio spaces and study under the direction of professional artist-instructors who provide clear instruction in the techniques of classical and contemporary drawing and painting.

3. Children's FuN Art Camps at Studio Broadway! - Fun arts and crafts projects, hands-on classes while learning new skills and making new friends!
Day Camp
Coed
Snohomish, Washington

Studio Broadway is a small, relaxed atmosphere, private art studio located on a small farm just outside of beautiful Historic Snohomish, WA. (35 minutes north of Seattle, a couple miles due north of FlowerWorld & Maltby Cafe on Broadway). This wonderful location allows you to enjoy walking the many wonderful shops and restaurants while your child is having a great time creating art & crafts projects! Fun arts and crafts projects, hands-on classes while learning new skills and making new friends! They will experience many aspects of art including; Watercolor, Acrylics, Plaster Art, Collage & Mosaic. Developing artistic skills gives your child the ability to express themselves "outside of the box" which is extremely important to their development. As many public schools no longer provide or offer art classes, my services are even more valuable as I feel every child should have the opportunity to explore, create and enjoy their artistic side!
