Spend the summer with horses at a horseback riding camp. Learn Western and English style of riding, jumping, as well as vaulting (gymnastics on horseback). At some horse camps, participation in horse shows and competitions are common. Proper care for horses and trail riding are often integral activities at most equestrian summer camps.

1. Camp Rim Rock - Our 60th season! Multiple week sessions. Residential girls camp ages 6-16 offering Horseback Riding, Performing Arts, Sports, Aquatics, Arts and Crafts. ACA accredited. Less than 2 hours from DC on 600 acres.guidance. Rim Rock has a non-competetive philosophy, which encourages individual growth and acceptance of one another.

For 60 years, Camp Rim Rock has provided a place where girls from around the world spend a summer filled with fun, friendship and new opportunities in a nurturing environment. During a 2 or 3 week session, the girls will participate in Horseback Riding (80 horses, 6 rings, English lessons, trail and river rides, stable management), Performing Arts (dance, drama, chorus, stagecraft), Arts & Crafts (projects using various media including pottery), Sports (tennis, soccer, lacrosse, field hockey, basketball, softball archery, volleyball) and Aquatics (swimming in a 2 acre pond with a beach, 2 heated pools, kayaking, tubing). We also have hikes, cookouts, campfires and fun evening programs. Specialty camps are offered in Riding and Sports. 1 week Mini Camp sessions are available for rising 2nd-4th graders. We are accredited by the ACA and located less than 2 hours from D.C. on 600 beautiful acres. Our sessions run from the beginning of June through the end of August.

2. Camp Hidden Meadows - We are committed to providing exciting, safe, and positive experiences where young people learn about themselves, others, and the environment. We believe learning should occur naturally in a fun, supportive, non-competitive environment. Beautiful 250-acre camp in the Allegheny Mountains.

We offer 1, 2, 3, & 4 week sessions for ages 7-16. Horseback riding, whitewater rafting & whitewater kayaking, caving, mountain boarding, canoeing, backpacking, indoor climbing wall, outdoor climbing tower, mountain biking, hiking, rock climbing, fly fishing, outdoor living skills, nature center, swimming, sailing, 1000-foot zipline, and more!
