The Shell Lake Arts Center attracts talented students of all levels of ability from all over the country, and often internationally. Along with the oldest jazz camp in the nation, are week-long camps in rock, concert band, piano, show choir, dance, musical theatre, trumpet, guitar, saxophone, etc. Visual arts camps include painting and pottery.
Shell Lake Arts Center also offers adult camps, with a graduate credit option available.

This year's camp has been redesigned and will focus on improvisation, innovation, self-expression, and self-discovery. Instrumental and vocal campers will learn innovative techniques and have several performance experiences, such as the unique opportunity for all campers (regardless of instrument) to join small jazz combos. Our most popular features will return such as concert band, choir, and the jazz ensembles. DPI scholarships available (limited). 2009 Dates: June 14 -20

SummerTYME Camps is a program of the TYME OUT Youth Center, a non-profit retreat center founded in 1980. For more than fifteen years, SummerTYME Camps have brought kids from diverse backgrounds together to a safe and fun environment about 30 miles outside Milwaukee. Our camps provide middle school youth (entering grades 6-9) with a six-day, five-night residential camp experience. SummerTYME Camps create an environment which fosters Character, Confidence and Community through focused, themed instruction (by coordinators who are experts in their field) as well as recreational activities. Our belief is that a child who wants to come to camp should have the opportunity; no child should be turned away because of financial limitations. Full and partial fee assistance is available to those who qualify.
