The MN ACE Camp is a fun filled week of everything aviation for students going into 10, 11 or 12 grades, or 2020 graduating seniors! It is designed for students who are really into aviation or are looking at aviation for the first time. The camp is sponsored by the Federal Aviation Administration and the MN Department of Transportation, Office of Aeronautics.
Each student will get the opportunity to fly and airplane, helicopter and glider under the supervision of a flight instructor. In addition, they will tour air traffic control facilities, an airline pilot training center, the Minneapolis airport, several aviation museums, a float plane maintenance shop - just to name a few. Industry professionals come in and speak with the students about their aviation careers. In past years we had an astronaut and female airshow performer speak with the students. Students will also work on a few projects and attend a basic private pilot ground school. Our staff is composed of airline pilots, air traffic controllers, FAA employees, and college students enrolled in local aviation programs.
Our 2020 camps take place June 7-13, June 21-27 and July 12-18.
Please note: In state MN tuition is $750 and out of state tuition is $950. Please do not let the cost deter applying - we have financial aid opportunities which are available to all.
