In camp programing offers over 20 camp activities to sign up for each day. Or choose to take an adventure in one of Northern Minnesotas beautiful wilderness areas canoeing, backpacking, kayaking, mountain biking, fishing, or rock climbing, you and friends learn to live comfortably in the outdoors as you experience all the fun and challenge the wilderness has to offer.
Campers from the Twin Cities and beyond have fun learning new skills through a variety of adventurous activities led by caring counselors, many of whom are international. Camp Fire Minnesota is 104 acres along the shores of beautiful Lake Minnewashta with both natural forest and prairie lands, which is ideal for exploration and nature based education.

Widjiwagan YMCA wilderness adventures are offered starting at age 12 and progress through advanced 30-55 day invitational trips for 18 year olds. Respect for self, others, environment and equipment are core to the Widji way.
Rumriver Art Center will be offering Summer Art Camps starting in mid June and running through August. Each camp is a week long and will focus on the art making process using various art media from drawing and painting to pottery and sculpture.

Camp Character is for youth with special needs ages 7-18. Our camp teaches life skills, social skills, and confidence. We use outdoor activities, teambuilding, water activities, high and low ropes activities and more to teach applicable skills. We have three separate camps within each camp for girls 12 and up, boys 12 and up, and younger youth. We guarantee your child will want to return and grow their skills!
Discovery Day Camp is an opportunity for girls and boys grades K through 8 to join in on five full days of fun and learning. Each day campers will explore exciting activities guided by friendly and knowledgeable staff.
Long Lake's Summer Programs welcome campers to a fun, friendly community in north-central Minnesota. Six-day sessions include outdoor activities, games, and wilderness skills. We encourage curiosity, exploration of nature, and respect. Adventure canoe trips, day camps, resident camps.
