Rock, Roll, Repeat!:

Rock 'n' Roll Music camp, which culminates in a performance of the rock band. This camp required previous one years worth of experience in preferred rock instrument.


Theatre camps: Covers the entire theatrical experience from acting, directing, and playwriting, to theatrical design including costumes, lighting, scenic, and sound design. The musical theatre camp also includes singing and dancing.

The theatre camps will end with a performance of a fully mounted summer stock production of a musical/play for family and friends. All the students in the camp will be given roles in the musical/play. Students will get to help design and build the set and costumes for the play.

No prior experience is required to register for either the Musical Theatre camp or the Comedy Theatre camp.

Theatre Camps Apprenticeship Program: For students ages 13-17 interested in areas of theatre other than acting. Positions available: assistant director, asst. stage manager, asst. costume designer, asst. set designer. Students are also invited to act in the play/musical if they are interested.

Rock, Roll, Repeat!: A rock 'n' roll music camp for aspiring musicians and singers. One year of previous experience playing a rock instrument is required. Instruments will be available at camp. The camp will be taught be local professional musicians and music teachers.

Morning and afternoon snacks will be provided daily, but students are asked to bring their own lunch or buy from our box lunch program for full day camps, except for Fridays when there will be a pizza party.

*Early drop off and late pick is available if you register with La Paloma Academy's traditional summer camp. This is not affiliated with the Troubadour Theatre, but is it at the same site. On the last day of camp, parents should drop their students off at the performance site, and will not need to pick them up at 3:30 that day, they should plan on coming at the performance time to watch the play/concert.

3. Scottsdale Bible Church Summer Arts Camp - Scottsdale Bible Church (SBC) is now accepting registrations for its summer music and performing arts camp. The camp will run from June 6-10, 2011 and is open to students entering grades 4-12 in the fall.

Camp fees are $25. The camp will conclude with a student-led Worship Celebration at SBC on Friday, June 10 at 7:00 p.m.

This summer’s 11th annual camp offers dual programs for grades 4 through 6 (Creative Kidz) and grades 7 through 12 (Student Arts Leadership Training or SALT). Creative Kidz will participate in singing, art, drama, dance and stomp band from 9-11:30 am each day. SALT students will have track options in singing, worship band performance, art, dance, drama, stomp band or technical arts from 1-3:30 each day.

All campers will have breakout sessions in the student’s specific area of interest, and a corporate time of singing and worship. Auditions are not required to participate in the camp, but experience is required when selecting the instrumental options.

The $25 per student camp fee is valid through May 31. After that, fees will increase to $30 per student. Online registration is now open Scholarships are available and can be applied for during the online registration.
