Camp Winnarainbow, California’s Premiere Circus and Performing Arts Camp was founded by sixties icon Wavy Gravy more than 30 years ago. Located 3 hours north of the Bay Area in beautiful Mendocino County, Camp Winnarainbow offers one and two week sessions during the summer for children ages 7-14. Classes include circus arts, drama, multi-cultural dance and martial arts, play production, trapeze & aerials, tightrope, juggling, unicycling, stilt-walking, gymnastics, magic, music, clowning, art, and environmental awareness. Two-week sessions end with a fabulous show for families & friends.
Swimming is available every afternoon in Lake Veronica, complete with 350-foot world-class waterslide. Organized sports are played on a regulation basketball court and sports field. Lodging is in canvas tipis. Three delicious homemade meals served each day, always with vegetarian and vegan options.
Our mission is to create a living environment of love, safety and harmony by building a community of children and adults who come from many different backgrounds, where they can learn to appreciate one another through the performing arts. Camp Winnarainbow provides a training ground to nurture leaders for a more peaceful and sustainable world.
