2. Chewonki - Located on a 400 acre coastal peninsula in Maine, Chewonki offers a boy's camp program for 8-15 year olds, girls' wilderness resident camp, and a variety of coed wilderness expeditions for teens.

Founded in 1915 as a saltwater camp for boys, Chewonki has now grown into a year-round, non-profit environmental education organization. The boy's camp continues each summer with an emphasis in natural history, sailing and wilderness trips. In addition, a wilderness camp for girls only, ages 11-17 is offered, along with several coed wilderness expeditions for teens. Family camp and trips offered as well.

3. Williwaw Adventures - Williwaw Adventures offers wilderness travel expeditions for young adults. Activities include coastal sailing, backpacking, sea kayaking and whitewater rafting, while exploring the wilderness, waterways and seas of Maine and the Pacific Northwest.
