A three-day workshop that will dive deep into the basics and fundamentals of jazz concepts, improvisation, and performing in a small group setting.
High school students from around the nation join in this intense and exciting week of music-making under the direction of the internationally acclaimed St. Olaf College music faculty.
High school and middle school students embrace two weeks of immersion into all aspects of jazz. Included in the program are instrument training, music theory, vocal (choir and solo), Latin percussion, jam sessions, and improvisation.
