SUMMER 2021 CANCELLED DUE TO COVID19. PLANNED REOPENING IN SUMMER 2022- The Sequoia Chamber Music Workshop is a unique opportunity for young musicians to study and perform at least four different works with four different chamber groups over the course of a six-day session.
Musicians 9-14 years old: play with others in ensembles, learn to play percussion instruments and sing. Campers will perform in concert at the end of the week.
Play in a band, learn music theory, music composition, ear training, song writing, play in a band, & receive guidance in developing personal expression and musicianship through playing popular songs with other campers.
The Summer Music Institutes provide multifaceted opportunities for young musicians’ artistic growth. Through intensive institutes focused on Harp, Chamber Music, Guitar, Choir, Violin and Piano, SMI offers unique music experiences.

Our camp balances challenging musical training to string and piano musicians ages 8-18 with enriching group activities ranging from kayaking, campfires, environmental education, hiking and arts and crafts.
