The Orchestra Project is a yearly summer music camp held on the campus of VCU. It is a joint venture between the Richmond Symphony and the Music Department of Virginia Commonwealth University. The Orchestra Project features two camps that run simultaneously: String Odyssey for developing string players with 2 years experience, and String Intensive for the advanced string player.
At The Candyman Summer Rock Camp, campers will learn how to be in a band, record a CD, appear live on the radio, perform at a real rock concert, work with professional musicians, attend workshops, improve skills, learn new songs, create a band logo and more.
