We are a private camp for girls in the heart of the Texas Hill Country, located on the Blanco River. Since 1953, our summer camp has offered fun outdoor activities, including horseback riding, kayaking, swimming, and much more. YMCA Camp Carter is located in the city of Fort Worth, Texas, and is owned and operated by the YMCA of Metropolitan Fort Worth. Camp features 350 acres, including a private Lake, a swimming pool, high and low ropes course, and an equestrian center. Other activities offered include two archery ranges, a riflery range, basketball court, athletic fields, volleyball courts, and canoeing.
