We are a private camp for girls in the heart of the Texas Hill Country, located on the Blanco River. Since 1953, our summer camp has offered fun outdoor activities, including horseback riding, kayaking, swimming, and much more. This summer, the YMCA of Austin will offer 20 camps across Austin, Hays County and Bastrop, including Kinder, Theme, Sports, and Trailbrazer camps. All camps will offer swimming, field trips, games, crafts, and character development activities.

At Robotics camp students develop an understanding of "how things work" through hands-on activities that demonstrate the principles of simple and motorized machines. They gain experience with design and problem solving through the use of gears, motors, wheels and axles, pulleys, and remote control devices. Working in teams, students learn a variety of ways to design a robot to do the things they want it to do.
