YMCA Camp Carter is located in the city of Fort Worth, Texas, and is owned and operated by the YMCA of Metropolitan Fort Worth. Camp features 350 acres, including a private Lake, a swimming pool, high and low ropes course, and an equestrian center. Other activities offered include two archery ranges, a riflery range, basketball court, athletic fields, volleyball courts, and canoeing.

At Robotics camp students develop an understanding of "how things work" through hands-on activities that demonstrate the principles of simple and motorized machines. They gain experience with design and problem solving through the use of gears, motors, wheels and axles, pulleys, and remote control devices. Working in teams, students learn a variety of ways to design a robot to do the things they want it to do.
