The California State Summer School for the Arts is a rigorous, preprofessional, month-long training program in the visual and performing arts, creative writing, animation and film for talented and motivated artists of high school age.
We develop young leaders committed to social justice and equipped with a sense of awe for natural beauty, tools for non-violent multicultural community building, and the confidence to make positive change in our communities and the world.
Musicians 9-14 years old: play with others in ensembles, learn to play percussion instruments and sing. Campers will perform in concert at the end of the week.
