During the summer Western Michigan University offers a wide variety of camps geared toward students of all ages. Our camps range from academic to sports, with a little bit of everything in between. Camps vary in cost based on requirements.
At Camp Ohiyesa kids discover new skills, make friends, gain confidence and practice teamwork. From archery and canoeing to horseback riding and outdoor living skills, a wide range of camp activities fuel lots of summer adventure. Camp Ohiyesa is also available to rent by school groups, churches and other organizations.

Camp Wathana, established in 1926, is operated by Camp Fire USA Southeast Michigan Council. Located on 250 acres, the site includes two lakes, rolling hills, woods, fields and wetlands.
