Camp Kiowa at Lone Oak Ranch is a traditional summer camp lasting for seven days and six nights. Offering a variety of activities that provide your camper with in-depth exploration and new experiences. Counselors work directly with campers to allow each child to excel and discover other passions. At Robotics camp students develop an understanding of "how things work" through hands-on activities that demonstrate the principles of simple and motorized machines. They gain experience with design and problem solving through the use of gears, motors, wheels and axles, pulleys, and remote control devices. Working in teams, students learn a variety of ways to design a robot to do the things they want it to do.

Outstanding 4th-8th graders visit significant Texas sites in Dallas/Fort Worth, Austin/San Antonio or Houston/Galveston with a focus on leadership. All facilitators (1 per 10 students) are educators.
