A summer camp for boys, that was established in 1928 in Hunt, Texas, deep in the heart of the Texas Hill Country near Kerrville. Camp La Junta, was founded to provide an opportunity for young boys to get away from the rigors of city life, to excel at exciting activities, appreciate the outdoors, gain independence and build self-confidence and an enhanced self-image.
We are a private camp for girls in the heart of the Texas Hill Country, located on the Blanco River. Since 1953, our summer camp has offered fun outdoor activities, including horseback riding, kayaking, swimming, and much more.
