Camp Mont Shenandoah is a small, traditional, all-girls' summer camp in the mountains of Virginia. Founded in 1927, the camp's program is based upon the five virtues of love, loyalty, friendship, sportsmanship and spiritual awareness.

The Orchestra Project is a yearly summer music camp held on the campus of VCU. It is a joint venture between the Richmond Symphony and the Music Department of Virginia Commonwealth University. The Orchestra Project features two camps that run simultaneously: String Odyssey for developing string players with 2 years experience, and String Intensive for the advanced string player.
1-3 week long backpacking trips and specialty trips that include rock climbing, caving, mountain biking, whitewater kayaking, canoeing, outdoor living skills, and wilderness leadership.
