The Orchestra Project is a yearly summer music camp held on the campus of VCU. It is a joint venture between the Richmond Symphony and the Music Department of Virginia Commonwealth University. The Orchestra Project features two camps that run simultaneously: String Odyssey for developing string players with 2 years experience, and String Intensive for the advanced string player.
Summer Arts is a multidisciplinary hands-on, arts education program which connects arts-interested youth to the inspirational possibilities of experiencing and creating artworks at the Museum.

Camp Quest Chesapeake is a coed, residential summer camp aimed at kids from freethinking families, including children and teens of atheists, agnostics, humanists, pantheists, and others with a naturalistic perspective.
1-3 week long backpacking trips and specialty trips that include rock climbing, caving, mountain biking, whitewater kayaking, canoeing, outdoor living skills, and wilderness leadership.
Program designed for kids of all levels to learn and have fun. The coaches of each sprort are winners on and off the field and will offer an experience like no other.
Camp UREC is a weekly children's day camp at the James Madison University Recreation Center.
