The Summer Music Institutes provide multifaceted opportunities for young musicians’ artistic growth. Through intensive institutes focused on Harp, Chamber Music, Guitar, Choir, Violin and Piano, SMI offers unique music experiences.
Vocal Performance Camp featuring field trips, music industry workshops, songwriting, house concerts, studio tours, showcases and more!
Our camp balances challenging musical training to string and piano musicians ages 8-18 with enriching group activities ranging from kayaking, campfires, environmental education, hiking and arts and crafts.
International music camp. Features lessons, chamber music and orchestra, solo performances, concerts, lectures, seminars, sports and recreation, reflections.

We seek to help young women develop healthy self-image through music creation and performance. Our goal is to develop a supportive community of peers and mentors, to foster the development of life skills, and encourage social change.
Open to middle and high school music students, the Festival offers a friendly and relaxed setting for musical growth through performance of chamber ensembles and large ensembles.
Kids will learn from professional Austin musicians how to put a band together, how to write songs, how to get gigs and a whole lot more! A minimum of six months private instruction on their instruments is required.
High school and middle school students embrace two weeks of immersion into all aspects of jazz. Included in the program are instrument training, music theory, vocal (choir and solo), Latin percussion, jam sessions, and improvisation.
