Camp Laurel, a camp for children living with HIV and AIDS, provides wilderness educational camping experiences for children 6-16 years of age. The program focuses on building self esteem through developing lasting friendships and participating in novel activities.

We ask our students to set aside limits: to be courageous and open to surprise as they immerse themselves in the immediacy and power of Shakespeare’s plays. Conservatory students spend the morning studying acting, physical comedy, stage combat, and more; afternoons are for rehearsals, to create a fully-realized, specially-adapted public performance of a Shakespeare play on the final day of the conservatory session.
