Camp Kala: Summer Arts Program is an exciting, hands-on day camp for children and youth entering grades 1 — 12. Camp Kala expands Kala Art Institute’s Artists-in-Schools program beyond the classroom to provide arts education throughout the summer at Kala’s West Berkeley studios.
During our 31 year partnership with UCLA Summer Sessions, UCLA Anderson, UCLA Extension, and UCLA Recreation, we have provided incredible summer experiences for over 15,000 high school students. Join us this summer for a 2, 3, 5, or 6 week experience.
Our campsite is just a short ferry ride away with campers supervised by our experienced staff on the ferry ride to and from camp each day.
