Catch the summer camp wave: week-long day, overnight camps, and tall-ship teen programs, for ages 8 to 17. Each week has a specialized focus on Science, Education and Adventures that emphasize activities such as tidepooling, kayaking, snorkeling, surfing and ocean stewardship.
Great Camp Sagamore, once a Vanderbilt retreat in 1897,is now a non-profit organization and National Historic Landmark that holds 2-10 day environmental and educational programs for adults and families.
Metro Parks' Nature Adventure Camps are designed to provide Central Ohio youth with the opportunity to discover and experience nature in an engaging, hands-on group setting. Campers will participate in fun outdoor activities, crafts and games. Metro Parks has been offering week-long day camp sessions since 1997. Programs are available for children in preschool through ninth grade.
