At Robotics camp students develop an understanding of "how things work" through hands-on activities that demonstrate the principles of simple and motorized machines. They gain experience with design and problem solving through the use of gears, motors, wheels and axles, pulleys, and remote control devices. Working in teams, students learn a variety of ways to design a robot to do the things they want it to do.
Dream it, build it, wreck it, repeat in our LEGO-inspired engineering summer camps! Campers engineer interesting projects, engage in critical thinking, work collaboratively and learn STEM concepts through playing with LEGO.
The CityLab Biotechnology SummerLab provides students with a hands-on experience and the freedom to design and plan their own experiments, while providing the support to help them learn from their mistakes.
